As you allow me to join your journey I would like to share this quote with you:
“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet water. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
– Psalm 23:1-4
I am Yanet Coria and I am a Licensed Social Worker. I graduated from Indiana University with my Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work. My concentration is in mental health and addictions.
Over the years, I gained quality experience in academic, community, and therapeutic settings. Before providing therapeutic services, I spent several years working as a school social worker in Title 1 schools. I provided support to children and families dealing with trauma, addictions, and poverty. In addition, I have provided 1:1 telehealth services to Spanish-speaking adults and children. I am excited to be able to expand my services and be a part of Firm Foundation Counseling. I strive to provide a safe space for individuals of all ages from various backgrounds and communities. I also offer religious-based therapeutic services; however, it is not a requirement. I am happy to meet you where you are and help you process your life challenges.
